VE3YYZ Repeater System

Toronto

The VE3YYZ repeater system is maintained by Eric Meth VE3EI which is located on top of First Canadian Place in Downtown Toronto.

VE3YYZ VHF 147.180 MHz, is an Icom D-Star Repeater. Also at 1287.500 MHz is the 1.2 GHz D-Star Repeater. On simplex at 1250.000 MHz is the D-Star data Transceiver. For more information on D-Star and how the system operates go to www.dstarusers.org.

Also on First Canadian Place is the UHF Analog Repeater 443.050 MHz, The repeater consists of an Motorola MSF 5000 100 watts using an RLC-4 controller by Link Communications. It is fed into a SRL 310-C4 antenna. The antenna height is 965 feet ASL.

Cobourg

VE3MXR operates on 444.975 MHz with a PL of 103.5 Hz. It is a Motorola MSF 5000 100 watt repeater feeding an SRL 310-C4 at 320 Feet above ground.

Fonthill

VE3PLF, has repeaters on 220 and 440 MHz. Located on the Edge of the escarpment in Fonthill. 444.725 MHz is a Motoerola MSF 5000 Repeater controlled by a RC 96 Controller. The 220.800 MHz repeater uses a pair of Icom radios for 220 in repeater mode. The antennas are located 280 feet above ground.
